Is it free to list a business?

Yes. Basic listings are free. New submissions are reviewed before publication.

Does team reviewed mean the business is guaranteed?

No. It means the listing passed our publication checks. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, safety or future service quality.

Can I nominate a business I do not own?

Yes. Use the Nominate a Business page and provide a public business page we can check.

Why do profiles show a last-checked date?

Small-business details can change quickly. The date helps readers see how recently the information was reconfirmed.

Do home businesses need to publish their address?

No. We encourage neighbourhood-level discovery rather than publishing an exact residential address by default.

How does Readers’ Pick work?

Each category and neighbourhood has its own community vote. One active pick is recorded per browser or logged-in account for each group.

Can businesses remove negative reviews?

Not simply because the review is negative. Reviews may be moderated under the Review Policy for spam, fabrication, harassment, privacy issues or other guideline breaches.
