Review Policy
Why public opinions matter
Home-based businesses and independent service providers often grow through word of mouth. Public reviews can make that useful context easier to find, while giving other customers more information than a business description alone.
Reviews should describe genuine experiences
We ask contributors to focus on first-hand experiences and practical details such as the service used, communication, approximate price where appropriate, whether the final price matched the quote and whether they would use the provider again.
What we moderate
We may remove spam, fabricated reviews, undisclosed promotional content, harassment, irrelevant material, private personal information or reviews that do not appear to describe a genuine experience. Businesses may respond to criticism, but responses should address the experience rather than attack the reviewer.
Reviews are not for sale
Paid listings and Featured placements do not receive positive reviews, higher ratings or favourable community feedback in exchange for payment.
