How We Vet Listings

Every new listing is reviewed before publication

We want the directory to be useful for customers and fair to small businesses. New business submissions are therefore held for review rather than published automatically.

What our team checks

We look for a clear business or service description, appropriate category and service area, usable contact information, obvious spam or misleading claims, and enough practical detail for a customer to understand what is being offered. Where a listing makes specific factual claims, we may ask for supporting information before publishing them.

What team review does not mean

Team review is not a guarantee of workmanship, safety, qualifications or future service quality. Customers should still make their own checks before hiring a provider. Public reviews and opinions are shown separately because community experience adds a different kind of information.

Paid placement is separate

Businesses can pay for clearly labelled Featured placement, but payment does not buy a favourable vetting outcome, positive reviews or an organic ranking advantage.
